A former partner at Parker Waichman Alonso Mark, LLP, where he headed the firm's mass tort department, Mr. Mark has been recognized nationally for his leadership in complex litigation. He is the recipient of the Massachusetts Rising Stars Award for Plaintiff Personal Injury, awarded by Law & Politics and Boston Magazine in 2005. Mr. Mark is frequently invited as a lecturer to other lawyers on science and medical causation issues in mass tort litigation, and has authored many articles concerning the implications of medicine and science on cases involving pharmaceutical liability and serious personal injuries. Mr. Mark has been appointed to various leadership roles in nationally coordinated litigation. He is co-lead counsel in the New Jersey Ortho Evra consolidated mass tort litigation, and co-chair of the science committee in the national Ortho Evra multi-district litigation. He is also co-chair of the American Association for Justice's Contact Lens Solution litigation group.
